About Ken Huggins

I discovered hypnosis whilst undertaking a formal study of human communication which included Neuro Linguistic Programming. Having experienced myself the tremendous power of the subconscious mind for healing, I soon realized that hypnotherapy would provide me with the means to help others to also achieve significant positive personal changes for themselves.

I went on to study with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, and was awarded a Diploma with Distinction by the prestigious British Medical Hypnotherapy Examination Board. I am now delighted to share my knowledge and skills with people who are seeking to improve their lives.

I am honoured to serve as a Director of The Hypnotherapy Association, and to have been a past Chairman of the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organizations Ltd. I am a full Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and the European Therapy Studies Institute. These institutions all have rigorous Ethical Guidelines and Codes of Practice that I whole heartedly support. I regularly attend workshops and training seminars to keep up to date with world wide techniques in order to always remain on the cutting edge of strategic therapy.

Since October 2001 I have successfully run a smoking cessation and weight loss clinic as part of the EasyStop group, using the unique EasyStop programme to help both smokers and weight loss clients to finally take back control of their lives and get rid of their addictive behaviours for good.

In 2008 I moved my practice to Dorset, where I am now delighted to be able to serve the communities of Bournemouth, Pool, Boscombe, Southbourne, Christchurch, Winton, Wallisdown, West Parley, Longham, Ferndown, Wimborne, Oakley, Broadstone, Morden, Wareham, Corfe Castle, Swanage and beyond.
